Directors
ODIN's Fund is capably guided by a seven-member Board, whose purpose is to increase the number of handlers and their partners who benefit from the fund's mission. Supporting efforts to secure sponsorship and donation and helping to promote Dr. McNamara's first aid training courses and kits are fundamental to the Board's commitment.
DR. PAUL S. McNAMARA
Dr. Paul S. McNamara, founder of ODIN's Fund, is a practicing veterinary surgeon who lives near Albany, New York. Dr. McNamara is also a Special Deputy K-9 handler in Schenectady County, New York, whose german shepherds Herod and Sasha are state-certified in advance narcotics detection.
OFFICER RAY SCHWEIGER
Officer Ray Schweiger, Ithaca Police Department, founded Ithaca's K-9 program in the fall of 1997 and is a 13-year veteran of the force. Odin is Officer Schweiger's K-9 partner, now 7 years strong.
OFFICER MIKE WATKINS Officer Watkins, Ithaca Police Department, has been a K-9 handler since 1999 with K-9 partner Neo, now 4 years old.
OFFICER CARL RUST
Sergeant Carl Rust, Amsterdam Police Department, has been with the department 15 years, serving as a K-9 handler for 9 years. K-9 partner Max, a Belgian Malinois, is Sgt. Rust's second partner. Rust and Max are frequent training partners of Dr. McNamara.
ADAM UNGER
Adam Unger, a manager at Pitney-Bowes, provides financial advisory services to ODIN's Fund and helped found the organization, and is official keeper of record.
